Abstract

Summary – Politics and Ethics in Franz Rosenzweig and Martin Buber
During the XX century, the meeting of philosophy and Judaism found an original expression for some authors of the Jewish faith, especially Franz Rosenzweig (1886-1929) and Martin Buber (1878-1965). Both authors were marked by violence, the former by the World War I and the latter by the World War II as well as the nationalistic plans for the establishment of a sovereign state in Israel, with all the historical and political implications that such a project contained. In this text, their politics and ethics vision have been developed.
