Perché l’intelligenza scenda nel cuore: considerazioni per un rapporto virtuoso tra teologia e spiritualità

Abstract

L’articolo propone l’urgenza di sviluppare una intensa relazione tra spiritualità e teologia a partire da una serie di considerazioni sulla storia di tale rapporto nell’Occidente latino. Tale urgenza è motivata non solo dall’intrinseca esigenza della vita credente, ma anche dalla necessità di confrontarsi con il mondo plurale delle spiritualità oggi dilagante.

The paper deals with the urgent need to develop an intense relationship between spirituality and theology, starting from a series of considerations on the history of this relationship in the Latin West. This urgency is motivated not only by the intrinsic need of the believing life, but also by the need to deal with the plural world of spiritualities that is rampant today.
