La teologia è chiamata a svolgere un’intelligenza critica della fede in modo conforme alla sua res – alla forma specifica in cui Dio si dà a incontrare – e in modo adeguato al proprio tempo. Perciò deve svilupparsi in ascolto della testimonianza scritturistica, al fine di esplicitare la forma biblica della verità e porsi come strumento interpretativo della propria epoca. Per lo sviluppo di un’apologetica originale la teologia deve esercitarsi nell’interdisciplinarità, imperniata sulla tematica antropologica fondamentale. La novità di Gesù Cristo non si riduce ad un potenziamento dell’umano, ma l’annuncio di un Dio che è grazia non è indifferente alla crisi dell’humanum.

Summary - The diakonia (service) of Theology

in a way that conforms to its res – to the specific form in which God is encountered – and in a way that is appropriate to its time. Therefore, it must develop in listening to the scriptural testimony, in order to make explicit the biblical form of truth and present itself as an interpretative instrument of its time. For the development of an original apologetics, theology must practise interdisciplinarity,
focusing on the fundamental anthropological theme. The newness of Jesus Christ is not reduced to an enhancement of the human, but the proclamation of a God who is grace is not indifferent to the crisis of the humanum.
