Salus carnis. Modelli antropologici preniceni a confronto: Ireneo e Origene
Abstract
Sommario
alessandrino.
Summary - Salus carnis. Pre-Nicene Anthropological Models Compared: Irenaeus and Origen
Ancient Christian thought, in the pre-Nicene era (2nd and 3rd centuries), presents different positions on the theme of salus carnis, the eschatological salvation of the materiality of human beings and creation. This article aims to offer students and scholars of theological anthropology a concise comparison between two models of patristic theology that respectively support or struggle to integrate the theme: that of Irenaeus of Lyon, exponent of the so-called Asiatic tradition, and that of Origen, exponent of Alexandrian thought.
